From Ti Kouka or Fale cottage you'll wake to the morning sun rising over the sea and enjoy stunning rural views and the ebb and flow of the serene inner harbour. Punga is on the other side of the hill with fabulous views over the valley river to the bush clad Brynderwyn Hills. Each cottage has its own covered deck for alfresco lunches or simply relaxing with a glass of wine after a full day enjoying the charms of Mangawhai.
Mangawhai Heads is a spectacular surf beach resort only 90 minutes north of Auckland and 50 minutes south of Whangarei that boasts a wide range of holiday facilities. During your stay in your own self contained cottage you can enjoy:

Many of our visitors make Mangawhai their base when visiting Northland. Its an easy stop-off point on the renowned Twin Coast Discovery Tourist Highway that guides visitors round the beautiful coastal resorts of Northland, New Zealand. Mangawhai is also an easy drive to many delightful Northland destinations including:
